Transporting Gun Safe

Purchased a gun safe that will arrive on a truck in a few weeks to Heberts. For those of you who have hauled them yourself, what's the best way? It's 58H x 41W x 24D and 630 lbs. Do yall throw them behind a pickup, use a trailer, strap it laying down, strap it standing up, strap it down on a pallet with a pallet jack underneath, or use rolling dollys?

When I picked mine up it was on a pallet. They loaded it on my trailer with a fork lift. Used furniture dolleys to get it in the house.
We used a heavy duty appliance dolley to move it this summer. We layed it down on the trailer, then stood it back up at the new house and rolled it into place.

I sell safes along with many other things in the business I am in. We deliver all of ours, I leave them on pallet, take pallet jack with me on a tilt trailer. Here is an easy way to move them when you get to house if you have hardwood or tile. Take to door on pallet jack, unbolt from pallet and shove through the door onto a towel, slide it to its resting place in house, tilt to the side and pull out towel, bolt to floor.Helps if you have one or two friends to help.

Mine came bolted on a pallet. We laid it down on a small trailer to bring it home

Moved mine through the house most recently on golf balls. Worked really well. Check it out on YouTube.
