I use Blink cams for my wifi cams at home. I use wiseeye trail cams at my remote locations where no wifi exists such as hunting and fishing camps.

Only if there is no internet access.
Otherwise any of the wireless security cams are leaps and bounds better than trail cams.

I have a long driveway too and I have 3 driveway alerts, with different signals, and 2 big dogs that bark if somebody farts in my yard. I am well prepared and loaded up.

Without a lot of supplemental support, it appears as though Blink cameras are not suitable for longer range operation.

I sent the following to Blink:
I am considering a multi camera outdoor installation including 3rd generation units which come as a kit witch includes at least three Blink Outdoor cameras and one Sync Module 2. My concern is the maximum distance at which the cameras can communicate to the sync module. This information is not supplied in the data readily available. Are trees and bushes a concern? Metal house siding?

I received the following response:
Thank you for reaching Blink Technical Support. I have received and read your email and on behalf of the Blink team, I really appreciate the time that you have vested here in our department.

Regarding your concern, The maximum motion detection range is approximately 20 feet for all blink cameras. Some factors that influence motion detection are the app sensitivity setting, camera placement, object size, infrared illumination and object temperature. Under normal circumstances, the Sync Module is capable of communicating with Blink cameras up to 100 ft. away in any direction.

Kindly check the link below for you to be guided on our Blink camera.

Eufy cameras are pretty decent. Work off WiFi and you don’t have to get a monthly subscription.

Hi. Saw this thread.

We have Ring cameras around the house that work just fine. Have a Stealthcam in a wooded area behind the house. Mainly just to watch what animals show up. It's recently quit working, and have contacted the manufacturer for a replacement. Location is about 50 yards from the house. We have an ORBI Mesh system, so think the signal would go that far.

Thoughts on another cam, if so which one, or one of these wireless cameras being discussed here.

Thanks!

Don't get a Spypoint, you'll get robbed and no pictures.

Or a blob of grey you can't figure out
