Other than Living the Dream

Looking for a sac trip for my son's birthday. End of May. Would like fish cleaning included. Planning on getting a camp for the weekend as well. Probably 6-8 people.

Just curious, what’s wrong with LTD?

Also avoid frank canizaro.

They are booked and I know the consensus is LTD. Nothing wrong with them, just need someone else.

We may have an open pontoon. It’s according to exactly which day y’all are wanting to fish. End of May is the best time of the year so it should be a great trip. Text or call me at 318-308-5818. Bent Rods Guide Service

I've been going with a young man named Tyler Lafitte (318-471-2755) for 4 years in a row now. He doesn't advertise, but he's great. He gets the shiners, has the equipment (Pontoon boat, rods, livescope, spot lock trolling motor), picks us up on our dock and cleans fish when he drops us back off. You just bring a cooler full of beer.

He may have you meet him at a launch depending on where you are staying and he is going to take you. We stay pretty close to his home base (Lanan/Mid-Lake area) and he always gives us great service as far as step on the boat, catch fish, and step off the boat once your done.

We go with LTD at that time every year, and have to put down a deposit for the following year while we are there, or we won’t get our preferred dates.

And now that they have their bar license and are expanding their food offerings, it should be even better.

We’ve been renting an AirBnB nearby, but might look for a place on the water this year.

As does one of my buddies. May is primetime. Same story, they book again with them while they are there.

May & June are the best months to consistently catch fish. Better book now if you can find someone with an opening. I go end of May every year and book for the following year before leaving. I’ve been with LTD and several other guides. LTD is fine but you pay a little more than the individual guides because of their name recognition.
