There's a shite ton of birds where we are in Gillett, it's not really worth getting out there until 11ish though with the way everything is locked up. Buddy went out at 9 with a tractor to break ice, got in the blind at 11, and shot 64 by 3 this afternoon- we're doing that tomorrow. Our hole on the White is finally getting there, headed to the Sipsey in Tuscaloosa tomorrow to hunt a hole with a buddy then back to de Witt for a few days before school starts

Ah, I remember that name.

Remember the Ryals buck that sold for 30K? Can't remember the name but we had some of his genetics. Course, many people did.

My first hunt will be Friday afternoon starting at about 2pm.

Saturday morning I might skip the ice and hit the river, then head back to the farm and sit all day.

Sunday morning its a wrap then head back home.

Pork Loin
Soaked the loins in a wet brine for 6 hrs.
Cup of salt
Cup of brown sugar
Honey
Garlic
Corse black pepper
Parsley

Then seasoned in with my own mix (similar to tony's but lighter on the salt)
Pulled it off when it hit 150 and let it rest for 10

Greenbeans
Cans of whole greenbeans
Garlic and Herb breadcrumbs
Olive oil
Parmesan cheese

oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes

Cobbler
Can of blueberry pie filling
Can of Straberry pie filling
(did half and half)
Cream cheese cubed up into ~1/4" cubes
2 boxes of yellow cake mix
Cinnamon
Brown Sugar
Parkay Squeeze Spread (bottle)

Pour the pie filling (which ever one you want) into a 13x9" pan
Spread out the cubed up cream cheese (not necessary it's good without it)
Mix up some cinnamon and brown sugar with cake mix (dry) just till it looks almost dirty
Sprinkle the cake mix on top evenly
Put a little more cinnamon and brown sugar on top
Drizzle the Parkay on top of the cake mix (takes almost a whole bottle)
Bake at 350 for an hour

Bowman Brothers Bourbon
Add Ice
Refill when empty
