Fast Action, M, 5'9" XML are my favorite. got 2 on sale a couple years ago. sexy arse rods.
Also the shimano crucial 6'8" M Fast is my longer rod.
Along with some All Star Classics.

All I've ever used was falcon and all-star classic. Never had any problems with em and if something happens to them its only $50, or $29.

I got those shimanos and cabelas rods on sale. only reason i got em. got them for like 1/5 of the price. Gonna stock up on some All Stars if they have the ones I want.

I have a variety of rods, hammer, allstar, falcon, loomis. All about 7 ft med/heavy action. I do have one 8ft allstar for windy days. I only fish saltwater

I'm gonna go in there and play with the 7' rods and see which one feels like it'll handle top waters and shallow cranks the best and get that. Use it as a backup trout rod as well. That way I can keep a weightless worm or fluke tied on my weightless worm rod.

The other day I was with my padnuh buying a spinning combo. He didnt want to spend that much $$ so the salesman went into the back, found one of those h2o rods that was on clearance for $6.88. Not an all-star or shimano but shite, for $7, can't beat it.
