Oh no. I'm not talking about me giving the roundhouse. I'm talking about a real Chuck Norris roundhouse. I couldn't kick a football on the ground.

My biggest fear is getting my rods and reels stolen at a gas station or something on the way to a launch. I don't have a rod box so they just stay in the boat. There's no way I could afford to replace them, it would take me another 2-3 years. Most of the time I have like $1000 or more worth of setups sitting in the boat when I head out (at least for bass fishing). Never leave them unattended.

The bait monkey got to me starting 2 winter/springs ago and I starting blowing money slowly but surely. Most of my reels were bought off of ebay and I got deals on a lot of the rods, but sometimes I look at them all and think "holy frick, why did I do that"

And then I still find myself wanting more

Never have. I have found outdoors folk to be pretty awesome and in fact had someone track me down for an item I left in the woods once.

I would bet most outdoorsmen are awesome folk, but then you get the outdoor trash that steals, breaks every game law they can, has no respect for others or the animals they hunt or fish.

Yea, judge to the face may be a little over the top for this. Maybe a bitch slap and stern tongue lashing will work.

In this situation its the same as me and the same guy seeing each other at the boat launch almost every time. Park next to each other and never exchange more than polite greeting and well wishes. Then that sob steals something I leave in the back of my truck.

Guess you never know the level of someone's trashiness

Item stolen was one of a kind, the pos was there when it was stolen, and now has been in contact with the item. If he didn't take it he knows who did and is hiding that.

I know this is vague and kinda roundabout confusing

Ftf,

Now that you explained what happened, it made me think.

I wouldn't talk to the mf'er. Don't exchange shite. Now that you know his character, he may try to do something worse.

Just keep your eye on him, and remember what happened the next time you see him.

What goes around comes around. He'll get what's coming to him in the end.
