Speaking of this. I strongly urge all of you to document serial numbers on everything you have of value. Drastically increases chances of it being recovered if stolen

The year was 2004. Junior in highschool...
I BEGGED my dad to buy us a new fourwheeler to go along with our newly joined lease in oil city, la.

We had that brand spankin new 2005 Arctic Cat500cc 4x4 from August of 04 - Nov 2004

We went and hunted opening morning of rifle
season, and drove back into town to run some errands and grab a bite to eat before heading back out for the evening hunt.
We backed the trailer and fourwheeler down our driveway, unhooked it and headed to Griffs to get a burger.
To our surprise when we got back to the house literally 30 minutes later the fourwheeler and trailer were gone!

Broad daylight. We lived on a main road.
Assholes backed down my drive way, hooked up and shagged arse out of there....

Filed the police report. Found out homeowners doesnt cover it...
Life sucked...

One miraculous day the following February we got A call from the police and they asked if we had a 4 wheeler stolen.

A cop found my bike at a popular sand pit, deserted on a main trail with the keys on the seat.
No one around.. He ran the vin and it was flagged as stolen!

They stole the basket and the winch and put 46 miles on it...

Someone obviously bought it hot and got cold feet and got rid of it!
Thank you good Lord

I still have it to this day!!

From that day on, i have learned to absolutely HATE A FRICKIN THIEF

EDITED FOR ACCURACY

A few years ago I had a 1911 stolen from my home. Gave cops serial # and everything. Afew months ago Sheriff dept. calls and asks me if I had reported a stolen gun years ago. I said yes, did you recover it? They said no we are just following up on old cases.
Thats kinda like a chick taking her top almost all the way off and saying oh nevermind.

We had a bunch of 4wheelers stolen up here last year and hunting camps broken into. All but one was just punk thugs stealing from hunters. One hunter stealing from another is a special kinda low down

Uhh,

Are you for goodness, or are you for badness?

There is alot of badness in the world.

A fist works just fine, no need to get gangsta with the judge bra..

Maybe a bottle to the back of the head, High Life works the best.

Had some stuff stolen from a friends camp down the road from us. Turned out to be a few locals with 1 asshat as the leader. They got caught, but it makes you wary. We now have lights on cells and actually lock the boats.

If you are flexible enought to do that.

My fist flys faster than my foot. Especially if I've caught someone f'ing with my shite.

Catching someone=not being responsible for the damage you inflict.
