I’m looking to buy a thermal scope and my budget is 3k max. Is the ATN Thor LT worth it. I don’t need many features, just the ability to shoot hogs at night. I don’t need to shoot any farther than 200 yards. TIA

I ended up with the Pulsar XP50 but the Flir PTS536 is a nice scope and will do what you need

Would consider the Pulsar core rxq30. I Have never used their customer service but word is Pulsar’s customer service is great. I’ve got a couple of pulsar scopes, they work well & haven’t had any problems. Just another option. Flir might be good as well, I just don’t have any experience with those scopes to be honest.

I ended up going with the PTS233, I have confidence that FLIR makes a reliable well performing product. Can’t wait till my first pig!

Report back as I am ready to make a move into the thermal realm. Looking at pulsar xq38 and 50 as well they seem well liked on snipers hide night vision forum
