With the way the weather looks for teal this weekend, I may be fishing instead of hunting.

Too warm? I'm sitting this weekend out. Hopefully it will cool off next weekend for PAC.

I would offer it to you as an anchor, but you would need a rope.

I was just in Cabelas and saw the Old Town PDL. It's not a bad looking kayak. The only thing that would concern me is if the prop gives or not when hitting something.

How's the salinity? How many fish?

Salinity was still low I think. We didn’t start catching until we got closer to ship channel... hackberry salinity showed 3.5 this am but I’m sure choupique wasn’t that.

Awesome! How was the vegetation away from the launch? Ive never seen it stacked up like that right there. My dad wants to fish this weekend in his boat and asked where to go, I quickly volunteered West Cove. Easy way to tournament scout.

The pamphlet doesn't mention that. Just the Oct. 15th stuff I posted earlier.

Just the marsh refuge area is closed off, you can still use the launch and get to the Cove itself. We'll be bouncing around the cove looking for trout and plan to stop at a few flounder spots and see whats up.
