I'm supposed to be picking up a lifetime Yukon Angler tomorrow for a good price. Been searching marketplace for awhile and wanted something fairly cheap to get back. Plan on using it on the rivers around the northshore.

I was just looking at some bridges on the Comite as put in spots. Dad and I use to bass fish the Comite in the 80s, putting in at Hwy 10 near Clinton, or on Plank. Great fishing back then but the river was more accessible. I have a WC Commander 12’ I think would be perfect.

Dad is 82 and says he is still willing to go. Not sure he could scramble up those banks anymore though.

You should definitely take him,but know you will be doing most of the lifting and dragging the kayak.

I'm not familiar with those. Try both out if you can and see which fits you better. If I were to buy a new kayak I'd look at Native and Old Town.

I was in academy today and they had the Magellan 10' sit on top on sale for $499. The plastic felt pretty thick and didn't seem like much flex. Not sure about how they paddle or who actually makes them. But if I didn't just find this one on Facebook, I would have probably done some research on them.
