We did really well around MRGO last Saturday morning. Turned them on with live shrimp and they hit gulp after that. Just drift that area till you catch a couple, anchor and it's game on.

Thanks for the tips,but I think we're just getting in the duck ponds to red fish. Dont feel like waking up Early as shite to chase trout since i coming from covington.Y'all launched at sweet water to go to mrgo? Bretton sound marina is right there.

First time I had ever been there, really don't know my way around. Fishing was good, but waking up a 3am in BR to get there is just a little much for me. I'll stick to Grand Isle and Cocodrie where I can stay in a camp.
