Talked to one of their guides yesterday that is helping me plan a bachelor party, they shot over 20 geese out of the DUCK blind yesterday (close to 50/50 snows/specks).

that's not unusual at all...most set-ups in the area are in flooded fields, and the blinds we had were single use (one per hunter) T-shaped pit blinds. my typical blind had about 250 duck dummies and approximately 150 floaters with another 150 full-body and some socks for movement.
what he probably didn't tell you is that it was foggy as shite yesterday morning.

Drake has one area with maybe 15 single man fiberglass pits right next to each other down a levee and honestly, it's one of their best spots. The rest are wooden framed blinds that are built like Holiday Inns. They camo them up good and put out a shite ton of fullbody goose and regular duck decoys. If you get lucky to draw Brian or Shane, they may some of the best mouth Snow callers I have heard, and Shane blows competitively for Specks.

Do they hunt everyday during the season or just weekends? Chances are there're probably booked up for the 2nd split, but I may try to give them a call anyways. I hate trying to round a crew up and keep them committed though. Someone always ends up backing out.

They hunt everyday of the season. I've called them the day before and gotten in on a weekday - granted it was a Monday, haha!

As Larry said, pretty much go every day of the season starting off at Denny's in Winnie.

That is the fricking truth! If y'all are Louisiana guys, ask for Anthony, he's a coonass.
