Because 1) big largemouth taste like crap, and 2) you’re removing big bass DNA from the gene pool.
There are plenty of freshwater fish that taste much better than a 7+ lb largemouth.

My ancestors are French, and my roots as Cajun as they come. I know a lot of German Cajuns too. My guess is these people settled in a community like Robert's Cove and quickly adopted the local culture.
I know the roberts cove area pretty well myself, I have zero french dna but my ancestors arrived with the cajuns.

This sort of casual attitude about breaking laws, including game and fish laws, are exactly why this backwards arse state stays last in every ranking. Guessing you throw your trash out your truck window and have no issue with trespassing.
