Termite Bond/Protection

This was discussed about a week ago, but I wanted to share my recent experience and see if my thinking is wrong and what I should expect for anyone else who has had a termite experience.
House built with crawlspace foundation in 2014. House pad termite treated in May 2014. I've paid the $175 every year for the inspection and to keep the termite bond active. Today was annual inspection, and surprise, termites found around one of the piers under the house. They appear to be at ground level still with no wood damage.
Inspector said that the initial treatment should have kept us termite free for 5 years. He killed what he could with some spray, and they are coming out to treat the house and perimeter later this week.
1. I have no idea how costly it would have been to treat for termites if I didn't have the bond in place...is this a big deal even if there is no damage?
2. What should I expect with this treatment they are going to do? My assumption is that it will be in their best interest to do a great job since I ASSume that any damage would fall on them....?

My parents are having bad issues with termites right now and to the best of my knowledge after researching it for them, a termite bond does not cover damages unless it specifically states it in the contract. I think many if not most bonds simply cover annual inspections/treatments and unlimited treatments throughout the year if a problem arises.

Idk about much in terms of termite infestation situations etc... what I am 100% sure of is that you want the termidor for the premier/top option if you choose nothing else. It's the priciest but it's the best.
When I got this service via Orkin, i wasn't aware that they also gave the centricon stations as well. I'm not sure if I just "ok'd" that option without knowing, or whether it is a standard addition to the termidor service.

you have to read your bond/terms/contract as they are all different. if you have a bond it will cover damage they did. some companies will only treat the active termites with a contract where as others will treat the termites and get you a check for the damages. Again, every one is different.
