I know a guy who said the pain hit him 30ft. up a tree one morning. He started to climb down and said when he was about 6ft. from the ground he couldn't hold it anymore so he decided to just jump down. Said when he hit the ground....he lost his grip and shite himself! Had thermals on so he said he took his knife and just "skinned" himself out of them.

I like to be comfortable and make sure I don't have to come back and do it again, but sometimes there isn't time to plot everything out.

The best thing I have saved is the little packet of TP from the MREs (left over from Katrina). Those little bastards are a tiny packet of lotsa paper. Very handily stored in random places

You guys should try it fish a McDonalds tournement on Sam Rayburn. My buddy couldn't hold it any longer and we didn't wnat to lose our spot. Luckly it was before daylight but the turds had to have floated by another boat at some point since we were surronded by 50 boats out on Farmers Flats.

A year before that I had to wade to the bank before daylight because the water was so high.

In the woods I just grab a sappling and let it go. I always have paper with me.

How about when in a boat? We were at some near rigs once; no way it was worth going back and no time anyway. So I jumped into the Gulf and proceeded to launch a fleet of submarines that turned out to be floaters. There was no current either so we moved despite having just arrived and anchored up. Easily my most embarrassing fishing moment.

Buddy of mine has a piece of plywood with a hole in that he has strapped to the top of a five gallon bucket.

There is a small island in the Sulfur Mine that we have now designated as "Sock Island" in honor of my father-in-law.

I've hung my arse off the side of the boat before. I'm not about to jump in the water while I cut bait. Worried it would stick to me and no telling what it might attract.

I did that at Spring Bayou 2 weeks ago because there were too many tree-shakers nearby for me to safely use the "deep-water" technique.

Tear easily, feel comforting on the a-hole, very inexpensive to replace rather than new undies.
