I have a 24' CC with T top and radar. I fish Veince and I fish the lake. T top gets in the way at the trestles, but anywhere else is fine in the lake.

Some people have broken rods on the T top, but not very often. It gets in the way occasionally but it's nice to have extra electronics and storage up there.

I would say get one. However be prepared it will decrease your gas mileage pulling the boat and also running the boat due to the extra drag.

Besides getting in the way a little bit, thats the other negative I have heard about having one. I also want one so I can mount some speakers or something.

we have a T-top, I like it. Saying that when we upgrade to shearwater I dont think there will be a T-top.

That's correct. I noticed a decrease in my truck(F350) mileage after having the T top added. Not sure if you can see it in the pic but our top storage box has 2 speakers that face down and then 2 other speakers in the side the console.

Set it up so it's removable, that's what we did and it hasn't been used in years.

He's interest is in a Nautic Star 2400 right now. He's not sold on it quite yet, so it may change.

Bump. Does anyone else have any references for custom t-top companies? My dad is gonna have to go the custom route if he decides on the NauticStar. TIA

I would try one of them if you are close to one. Most probably fabricate their own if not they could probably point u in the right direction. Are you in the baton rouge region?

Yeah, live in BR. I searched hull truth and a few other sites with no luck. I'll call around some fab shops and see what they can tell me. Thanks buddy.

We have a 24ft w/ T-Top and at times I hate the T-Top but it is nice to have shade when its hot and we have curtains so during the winter it makes riding much a lot warmer.

It's a champion and we bought it / had it rigged in slidell. I am not sure where the T-Top was from. We had a cajun and the T-Top was custom made out of Laffy. I will find out more from my dad and post it.
