If I get a suppressor for a .300 AAC what other calibers can I get it used for? Is 9mm possible? That would be 7.62 mm and 9mm? I know it’s better to be specific but I don’t see myself having 3-4 suppressors
Pressures are drastically different between rifle calibers and pistol calibers.
Some 9mm suppressors can only handle subsonic 300 blackout. You would 100% need to check with the mfg before putting a supersonic round through that can.

If going with 300BLK I recommend looking at the Ruger Ranch with threaded barrel. I have one and love that thing.

Let’s say that 300 blackout is the primary use suppressor, but it would be sweet to just pay a little extra and have one for occasional 9mm and .22. So you have to get a wider hole for the 9 mm and obviously one that can handle 300 blackout compared pressure compared to 9mm.
I’m assuming the wider hole for the 9mm will make it not as quiet for the 300 shots? Even more so for .22 shots?

Yes it will be less effective, but the difference is negligible.

The problem with .22 rimfire is that it so dirty. Rimfire cans are designed to be disassembled for cleaning. None of my centerfire cans are able to be disassembled for cleaning.

A lot of the new suppressors have interchangeable end caps for different calibers.
I would not run 22lr through anything other than a dedicated 22 suppressor.
