Coming home from Pittsburgh looking the word on what the water level looks like. I like to fish the north section of Lake Bully Camp. Wanted to bring a few more people so trying to decide which boat to take. I usually take my 1977 15' Eliminator bass boat when its just me and one other person. My sister and dad may come so we will have to take his 22' Pro Master to accomodate the extra people. Should we just stick to Lafitte area that he usually fishes where the water is a little deeper? I have been back around the Mine last year when I was home and it was pretty shallow with the north wind. Saturday looks kinda windy but that is the only day we can go.

Any other advice would be helpful since I usually make all the decisions on where to go but haven't been home in 6 months. We are all stay at my parents house on the West Bank of St. Charles Parish so everything is about the same distance for us to go to.

I'm talkin between point au chien and Galliano. I usually launch at bassons launch. My sisters bring two kayaks. Might launch em out the bay boat. Haven't been to cocodrie in a while last time spent most of it out on the coast since it was summer

It's plenty deep enough. I bring my 22 ft blackjack in it.

Thanks. I just know with a north wind that water moves out fast. That north part of lame bully camp can't be a lot. Leaner water than the surrounding areas in tough north wind conditions. Milder days are awesome in there. Everyone stays in the mine and doesn't go up on the flats
