Louisiana doesn't exactly offer many amazing opportunities
The best bass fishing lake in the known universe. The best redfishing in the world. Duck hunting. The pens in Lasalle Parish

Not even close anymore. Not even sure how anyone can seriously argue this. At least not that we are the clear cut leader anyway.

agree with everything he said about politics there, there is no perfect party
And again, to allow people's politics to determine if you like their content is pretty shallow minded
A lot of Rinella’s views are also because he lives and mostly works out west. HUGE difference in politics, political views, etc. Same thing for guys that don’t understand where he is coming from.
Same thing that I don’t blame him for not understanding southern politics.
You can take the same guy in different parts of the country and he will likely have different political views. Not crazy different or absolutes or anything absurd, but they won’t be the same.

It didn't even make the Top 10 of the Bassmasters rankings, which takes real data and a panel of those professional fishermen into account. You're telling me Toledo Bend is better than Guntersville, Sam Rayburn, Falcon, Clear Lake, etc?

Says nothing about quality, which is what most people are looking for. An out-of-state guy like Rinella probably doesn't care if he can shoot a limit of teal and gray ducks in Louisiana if he can shoot mallards and pintails in the timber in Arkansas.

I'll give you this one, but I don't think NC and TX are that far off in terms of quality. Hell, I'm pretty sure the world record came from North Carolina.

ownership of Federal public lands to states
This is what Rinella rails against the most. The federal government has basically unlimited funds when it comes to big money issues like natural disasters.
Most states don’t have the money in their budget to maintain public lands for use. Roads gets closed, paths aren’t maintained, etc
