I've ran thru just about every color minwax sales and I can't seem to find one that I like. What are some of yalls favorite ways to finish pine? I'm open to any suggestions like oil, dye, or whatever.

To do what with?

Antique Pine, Yellow Pine, Fence Board, etc?

What look are you going for?

If you want aged look just vinegar and steel wool will give you that effect..

Yellow pine 1x6s. I'm looking for a lighter more natural look.

Look up water-soluble wood dye. I prefer these to other types of stains.

Pine is very soft so it absorbs stain variably and this gives an uneven pattern. Some like this, others do not. If you do not, use pre stain hardener.
