I want to take the time this year after deer season and go for a long-arse walk through a national forest hunting for squirrels. Seems like a great way to spend the day with my nephew.

There are usually a few squirrel hunts on our place in W. Feliciana, mostly during bow season. Our group isn’t the most enthusiastic as far as bow hunting, and we have enough room to work a few ridges/bottoms without affecting the bow hunters.

White tail craze has definitely made it harder to squirrel hunt in a lot of areas.
