I've been dipping for a long time good ole' Grizzly Long Cut Straight. I would try different dips from time to time but nothing ever stuck. Mints and Wintergreens are good but never got hooked. I wanted to try and quit so I got the bright idea I would pick something "nasty" wouldn't like it and therefor quit.
Picked up a can of Copenhagen Southern Blend, haven't put it down since

Southern Blend is my goto. It's cheap as well and the flavor lasts.

Nastiest shite I ever dipped was sequoia cardboard blend. Whatever the flavor really was 
It'll be 2 months tomorrow I quit. Cold turkey. Make sure you have something to do for the first 3 days. Work, get tore up, run after a 1 year old, etc. You'll want to break someone's neck if you have nothing going on. Grab a few cans of smokey mountain. I like the classic flavor but the wintergreen isn't too shabby. Before you know it, it's way easier to keep trucking when a craving comes on.

The only time I ever bought longhorn was when they were giving away that truck a while back. Figured I dipped enough to win. I was wrong

Back when I did it, Copenhagen long cut was my go to. The whiskey blend made a nice mix up occasionally. I never liked any of the other flavored stuff.
Another good thing was to take a can of long cut and put a half a cap of cheap whiskey in it and put it in the ice box. That shite was fantastic after coming out the woods in the evenings.

Yall ever try skoal spearmint? Stuff was delicious... For one can. If you tried two back to back, it'd make you sick as hell. Anyone I've talked to that tried it said the same.

Skoal cherry was like that for me in the mid 90s.
I was a Copenhagen user until they got expensive. That was back when they just had one flavor

I was that way with a lot of the flavors. That one in particular. I'd buy a can of something different to spice it up probably once a month. Had the spearmint quite a few times. Used to like to mix the peach and vanilla from time to time also. Peaches and cream bitches. Other than that I stuck with Copenhagen snuff or red seal wintergreen and natural.

The cherry and berry were nasty. Peach and vanilla was good as hell on occasion. First pinch I ever got was skoal Apple.... I still can't smell it without my stomach turning.

Same thing. I chew red man gold now and will occasionally bum a dip off of anyone when I don't have any chaw on me.
