Speck fishing lake pontchartrain - guides question.

I know this has been covered here but a quick google search didn’t find me what I was looking for.
Thinking about hiring a guide to fish the lake for trout. My dad has been wanting to do this for years, mentioning it every time we cross the lake. Any suggestions or recommendations of who or where to go?
Would like to book soon but I’ve heard it’s more of an October / nobermber bite.

go check rigolets fishing group on facebook. All the local guides post. Or call the marinas, Campo's, Rigolets, Pointe. They will give you the guides numbers

In no particular order:
Dudley Vandenborre
Kris Robert
Mike Gallo
Eric Dumas
Kenny Kreeger
If you are looking to fish in Lake Pontchartrain, make sure you check with guide on what time of year they fish in the lake. Usually this in the spring and fall.

There are several good guides on the lake, but Kris is the best. If you are bent on fishing the lake, definitely try to plan around spring or fall. October is generally a good month.

Ok thanks. I will check these out. Yea I have heard about the World Series trout bite. I’ll do some research and see what time frame works best

Most of the guides in the lake bounce intel off of each other all day so you can’t really go wrong with any of the ones that were mentioned.
Are you wanting to only catch them in lake p? I would personality wait until late October-April, if so. If you are ok with them bringing you to lake Catherine, borgne, and eastern Biloxi marsh then all of those guys can find fish year round.
