Just not good news. Manufacturers say shortage will stretch out for years.

That's what happens when you have millions of new gun owners. People forget the post-Sandy Hook surge that put a strain on ammo supplies for several years after.

CorBon had some .270 online not long ago. I hadn't ever used CorBon ammo before, but I've always had confidence in the Barnes TSX bullets. And they were available. Picked up 3 boxes.

It’s really hit or miss. There was a three week stretch where academy really had a bunch of selection from BR to Slidell. Then this week they basically got nothing in. Just depends.

I'm seeing some stability.
The prices are too high but availability has improved.
But the first rule of capitalism is that when you can't keep something on the shelves, you need to raise prices.

I really wanted to try out those Winchester XP’s. I’m not usually a tipped bullet fan and these have a huge tip, but a guy in the camp has shot several deer with them in 270 and I like the results I’ve seen. Big exit holes in every deer even when encountering bone.
