I have the Engel 30.

My kids gave me one for Father's Day a couple of years ago. I don't know if I would have splurged on it but I'm glad they did. It's very nice and the form factor is perfect for that size. Very easy to carry with the handle or shoulder strap.

I tried to buy the Engel 20 when I had a last-second need for a smaller one and got the 20 (or 25?) RTIC out of necessity. Haven't had it long enough to judge durability. I don't like it as much as the Engel but it was only 60% of the price of the Engel 20, so it seems to be a decent buy so far.

Don’t go Yeti. The damn zipper is too hard to open & close.

Its harder to close because its a much better quality zipper.

I could not recommend their backpack cooler enough.

I had too much to drink one night a few years ago and ordered a Yukon 30 Can Tech soft cooler LINK from my kid's school fundraiser. I have not been disappointed. It has held up to a tremendous amount of use. Zipper works perfectly and doesn't leak a drop. It came with zipper grease. You have to use it or you will have problems. I have only had to reapply it 2 or 3 times. I think all the guys complaining about zippers being too tight are not greasing them.
