Just wondering if any form of search is still on-going for the two young men who went missing on the Mississippi River back in early December.

I can't imagine a lot of folks would still be out there after all this time and the foregone conclusion they may never be found.

I can't imagine what their families are dealing with and I'm sure now all they would like is their remains for closure.

Volunteers look every weekend when the weather is decent. Now that duck season is over there are a bunch of guys looking whenever they can make the time. They may never be found, but they won't be forgotten.

Probably a different case. These two, one in his early 20's and the other a 16 yr. old, along with a lab were on the Mississippi River in a flatboat to check out duck hunting areas I believe. They didn't return when they were suppose to and a search was launched.

The boat was found with damage, life jackets were found, but neither guy has been found from what I can find.

This is completely sincere, but I’m assuming this is 100% believed to be an accident right? As in there is no evidence of something like the tennessee shooting incident or something else? The theory is they hit something on the river and drown?
