I think I would be more concerned about what is attracting the snakes to the camp . Also how well is it sealed up that a critter like that can get in . Yes ,I would hate to think that was in my camp but don't think for a minute that's the only one especially now that you kill the Alpha .

To be fair, the same could be said of humans.


Humans don't slither along the ground, generally. Snakes are creepy. I don't apologize for being irrationally creeped out by them.

Meh, it's just about education and understanding. People are afraid of what they don't understand. It's very evident in children. The ones who are taught that snakes are just another animal and there's no need to freak out about them grow like me and the other "snake lovers" on this board. The ones who are taught to drop everything and run at the sight of a 6" garter snake grow up to shoot holes in their walls when they see a harmless rat snake. I've seen many, many children at educational shows quickly overcome their fears when presented with information and shown that snakes aren't evil creatures that hunt people down and kill them.
