Small outboard noise level? Most quiet options?

I have a skiff we use for floundering and some other super skinny stuff and I'd like to get rid of the trolling motor and larger outboard and throw on a small outboard potentially under 5hp instead. Is this reasonable? It will save us 100 lbs or more and we don't travel long distance.
Any recommendations on the most quiet small outboard under 9.9hp? I mean we could do a 15hp if that's quieter. I've searched online for decibels on 2.5hp and can't find an answer. I see the Honda 2.3Hp is air cooled and loud, so that's out. I'd think a 2.5hp 4 stroke at low rpms would be very quiet but I have 0 experience? I don't care about noise at full RPMs, but I'd like something really quiet at 1000-2000rpms to go 2-3mph?

I've seen electric outboards. They're like a big trolling motor. Doesn't get quieter than that...

I can't see the noise being much different in those sizes. Or from brand to brand.

Yeah I mean I've considered just throwing a big trolling motor on also. But I'd like the comfort of the gas range to be honest I can bring an extra quart of gas as back up and know I'll get home.
ETA: I don't really want to be 3-4 miles from the dock with only an electric.
I don't need it trolling motor quiet, but some of the youtube videos and what not seem loud. I'm hoping for something like a 115 or 150 4 stroke outboard at idle?

I have a Mercury 15 four stroke. It’s quiet at idle. Buddy has a Honda 20. It’s quiet also. I think all the major brands should be about the same these days.

i compared all the 4 strokes at a boat show a few years ago and suzuki was the quietest with nissan/tohatsu the next quietest and mercury was the least quiet. but most of them are pretty quiet. i was comparing the 40 hp models though
if you have facebook look at this 15hp tohatsu and you can hear it running LINK

I have the same suzuki that Last Coco has, 2.5hp (I think). 4 stroke. It is water cooled. It seems loud when you are next to it, but when tied on the dock and you walk 10 feet away it is silent. Only thing I don't like about it is there isn't a reverse. You are supposed to swivel it 360* and the handle folds back, for reverse, it's as awkward as a monkey fricking a football. I just use my paddle for reverse. Another gripe is the shifter on the side instead of the front. When you throw it into gear, you have to slightly lean back, and it is unnerving, like a feeling you are going to fly out the back of the boat. Other than that, great little motor. Only 29 pounds and designed to be stored on its side.
More info- I clocked it at 8.6 mph on an empty 1436 with just me in the boat, with minimal wind and no current. Also, that was before I adjusted the trim. It would probably do 10 mph now if I clocked it again.
Which reminds me, the trim isn't something you can adjust on the fly. Requires tools to dial it in.
The suzuki was basically designed to be a ninja motor and make it as lightweight as possible (29 pounds is lighter than my trolling motor + lithium battery), which is why some things you are accustomed to on small outboards aren't on this one.
Back OP's main concern- noise, the suzuki is going to be quieter than all of its peers because it is water cooled and not air cooled.

ya that sounds like a shitty way to do it just to not have to design a reverse shifter
