Thoughts? Other options? Looking for something removable and the ability to be flush mounted to a grab bar similar to this
Looking like the Nocqua 10Ah would be the most convenient way to power it due to its portability and small size (can fit it in the box along with other stuff)
This is my first time buying my own GPS, so y'all school me on chip compatibility and whatnot

If you going 7" I would go with Lowrance Elite Ti. Its basically the same as the Go7.

Cant go wrong with Simrad if you want to spend the money.
I haven't personally had any experience with Raymarine or the Dragonfly but I haven't heard anything negative from users.

Ipilot is only compatible with humminbird unless that has recently changed.

I'd go with the simrad or a lowrance unit for the mapping ability for a custom mapping card. seapickle and I can help you with that.
I know raymarine has mapping cards thru standard mapping I believe. I'm a big fan of the simrad go 5/7/9 units. Will be my next unit when I decide to sell my hds7

Minn Kota Ultrex has the GPS unit built into the head of the TM. You can use spotlock, jog feature, and it memorizes pass routes. Many people running Lowrance or Garmin are buying the Ultrex ipilot TM. Of course they have an Ultrex with an ipilot link option that you can connect to your Humminbird that gives you even more features. But I'm just happy for spotlock and jog.
