So on the OB, who is going to be the first Silver owner to not only have the first Embark DNA test kit done. But then be bold enough to post the results here for the world to see?

What do you expect the results to say?

They’re still labs, just a lighter shade of brown. Are you insinuating chocolate labs aren’t full blooded Labrador?

I already know the result of 3. One was bought from a FB page "Louisiana Silver Labradors". All hell broke out on the page when the guy posted the results and she deleted it all. 35% range Labrador 25% range Wiem. and 3 other breeds in the 10 to 17% range. Second was bought from 5K Kennels in Broussard it had both Lab and Weim in the 30% range almost equally. With 3 to 4 other breeds mixed in Owner is raising hell on his personal FB page. The third came back Labrador, Chessie, Wiem, and a breed of fiest. shite about to get lit on these Silvers. Just wanted to start the post and see if any of those hear was in the loop.

Chocolate labs i've seen on Embark are all running in the high 60 to 75% range. Like most yellows and Blacks. I see these fox reds are coming back with high golden retriever percentages like we kinda always speculated was the case as well Choclates seem to carry in general a good golden retriever percentage in the teens too. Seen very few labs overall make the 85% and above range.

What’s the point? I have a silver colored lab that is quite likely some part Weim. Best dog I have ever owned and a treasure to our family.

I don't know why this would shock anyone. Truth in animal breeding is only honest as the people controlling it and submitting the papers.
