I have the opportunity to pick one of these up for $450 slightly used in FDE. Comes with standard barrel plus a threaded one and night sights on both.

I've shot the 320 and absolutely love it. Looking for some feedback on this one though with it being a DA/SA system.

I would... But the guy I'm getting it from (my BIL), has a suppressor and I'm listed on the trust. Planning on getting my own at some point.

I've shot his 320 with the Romeo1 and suppressor. Good lord that thing just isn't fair.

It’s a really good pistol imo.

I've handled it, just haven't shot it. It seemed fine to me. When you say poorly designed, do you mean that it's too bulky? Sharp edges? What is it?

you better try it again with other sigs (or any handgun that comes with one)

poorly designed decocker tab. extremely stiff and jumps out of your hand when it breaks.

maybe they get easier over time, but at the shop we used to use it as an example of how a decocker is not supposed to feel lmao. try it next to a P226/229, HK45, etc and you'll see

Maybe that's part of the reason the 2022 is half the price of those

there's a bit more that goes into it than that

you seem pretty set, go ahead and buy it. i'd offer him $400 though, that thing has a MAP of $499.

Isn't the 2022 the handgun of the French National Police? I seem to remember that is the main focus of the 2022.

so whats the point of this thread then? I mean DA/SA handguns have been around for....idk 100+ years so if that's your concern don't worry about it. personally the two barrels wouldn't increase the value for me because im never going to put the non threaded on. id offer $400

It's a "budget" and polymer take on the P226/P229. I had one and moved it on to a daughter - her husband also has a 2022 in 9mm so now they can use the same spares across the board.

I'm partial to Sig's DA/SA system, so I already lean that way. But, for now, I'm done with plastic pistols. If I HAD to have one, this would be it.

Meh, the 3 or 4 I've fired didn't leap out to me, Carson - maybe it is a "new" thing (although that's a rare Sig I bought "new" ).

I defer to your experience handling them in the shop, but that's the least of my worries with the 2022 - the takedown ritual (which I finally got as I was getting rid of it) was my turn off. A Classic takes down easier than anything, including a Glock. A 2022? Not so much - you have to do it
just right, like dealing with a woman.

I'm caught up at work and wanted to know what people here thought about the gun. I've held the damn thing. I haven't put a single round through one.

I’m with Carson that it should be a fine gun for the average shooter. I’m not wild about them copying the aluminum design and making it polymer but it onviously works well if they’ve sold so many.

I’m also with Carson that $450 is high.
