What do y’all think? With the first cold front coming down, will the shrimp migration get kicked off? Going fishing this weekend in SWLA and would love to get some shrimp with a cast net.

Shrimp been skittering for the past few weeks. Dockside/Matrix had some good videos from the first push.
What's going to happen this weekend with the the storm going to FL. and front moving through? Good weekend conditions or poor conditions for S. LA marsh? High wind and water levels?

Should be a good time to go. I just had a video pop up on FB from 7 years ago today when my son and I hammered em in SWLA with cast nets.

This is my read. Would love someone who is better at this to correct me if it's wrong.
Sunday/Monday I'm think west bank fishing is going to be on fire. Westerly winds for a week pushing all the dirty river water towards biloxi marsh before the winds fall to almost nothing on Sunday and Monday.
Should be really calm conditions on either side of the river but on the west bank side you should be seeing some super clear water and should be able to target whatever you want close to shore because it's all been pushed that way for a week.
