Wife runs in the house saying coyotes are eating one of our cats. She holds the light and one .257 WBY mag to the head puts an end to that. 
That thing was running at about 75 yards. I was acting like the shot was no big deal but I was really wondering how in the hell did I hit that thing!

75 yards at night running full tilt with the wife holding the spotlight. Trust me that was nothing but luck.

Shot another one but he was all the way across an uncut soybean field so I will have to look for him tomorrow. Neighbor called and said someone was spotlighting deer beside our house.
