I agree with you… and it’s anecdotal, but I didn’t know they were selling the shite out of them. I don’t know a single person that has one or has even expressed interest in one, outside of the internet.
I've been interested in them since watching a lever gun used in a three gun comp.
I knew they were extremely accurate rifles for their time (and if we're being honest, they were more accurate than most off the shelf rifles until the late 90s), but I never realized how quick they were. The same basic design has been in use now for 165 years.
By comparison, the 1911 is a babe in the woods.

I always have a handful of buddies who go to Shot Show and SCI and such and I have never understood why they hold these events DURING hunting season. I get that Shot Show is as much of an industry and Law Enforcement event as it is sportsmen, but the overlap has to be considerable. I suppose both events stay packed, so they're obviously on to something, but would it kill them to hold them in Mid-Feb
It is the shooting sports annual industry trade show. It is supposed to be limited to those who actually work in the industry. It isn’t for everyone and their buddies to come gawk and rubberneck and in general just be a pain in the arse of those who are here to actually work.
There are a plethora of deer/duck/elk/turkey/etc shows all across the country that are for the general public. SHOT show is not one of them.

The show actually opens tomorrow. Today was the last day of setup on the main show floor and range day. The supplier showcase did open today up on the 5th floor.
I wonder if that was some bored engineer’s idea of a funny?

$135 isn't bad. I like that it's the same thickness as the pistol.

should i make a dedicated thread for this?

I really want to see a Cross with a 223-sized receiver. Would love one with about a 12” bbl, folding stock, and can. Also, not a big fan of these chassis bolt actions with safety up on top and not on the side like an AR.
Guess what I’m asking for is a PSA mini Fix.

Athlon releasing a chronograph similar to the garmin. Supposedly only $350.

they should just start with the price. All the other stuff is irrelevant fluff. What this Athlon does better than the Garmin is the price. Now the question is will be work as well as the Garmin?

How about a standard DI AR with a Titanium handguard from B&T for $3300!
And sounds like Geissele made most of the guts of the rifle.
