What an ignorant buffoon. Not only can't see where some people would find this ethically wrong, but thinking anyone who disagrees with you is a "hippie." People like you give hunters, and people who live in La a bad name.

If you can't see the ethical concerns, there is no amount of logic that will get through to you. It is illegal in many states to shoot a deer swimming in any body of water. This law doesn't exist for nothing. It is written and supported by sportsmen for sportsmen.

Are you even a hunter? Or do you just like to keep the trees alive and the air clean.

I bet you're a vegetarian.

Your ignorance knows no bounds. I was a big game guide for several years in Alaska.

I'm still waiting for you to elaborate on the ethical issue you have.

Let me ask you this hippie boy, what if I would have pulled up next to the deer and jumped out the boat on the deers back and slit his throat with my knife, would that have been alright with you??

You must be about 15. The statement "I pass up more shots than I take" which most sportsman can attest to most likely mean nothing to you.

So you took people hunting for trophy mounts and not meat hunts and you're getting on my arse about killing a deer that I plan to eat and not mount.

State law here in Alaska is that every part of the animal must be used. Your ignorance knows no bounds. You are embarrassing yourself.

This is the key word here, Roger. Sadly, although Louisiana is supposedly the Sportsman's Paradise, many 'hunters' in Louisiana are in no way sportsmen.

He is a shooter, not a hunter or a sportsman.

That isnt why people go hunting in Alaska, trust me no one is jumping on a plane to go shoot a bear because its meat taste so good.

Like I've said, I eat everything that I kill, if it's happens to have a nice rack or its a pretty bird, or whatever, I'll mount it, but I"m not really a trophy hunter, I do it for the meat and the thrill.

I couldn't care less if I have a 500lb bear, or a 2000 lb elephant in some trophy room.

Future of hunting will is in the hands of responsible and ethical sportsmen. It's a battle our hunters up here fight constantly.

What if I told you that I was riding around in my boat looking to shoot a deer swimming in the bayou, would you say that I was hunting then??

Would you call the people that drive up to a buffalo and shoot it from 10' away a hunter??
