Anyone have any issues with the bakflip? Seems fairly easy to install.

I own two Gator covers. A roll up version on my ‘21 GMC, and the Tri fold version on my son’s ‘23 Frontier.

Both have been worth every penny, not that they were expensive in the first place. I think they were around $300 each and neither has leaked a drop.

I prefer the roll up personally. It gets completely out of the way when needed. The Tri-fold one on my son’s truck sort of gets in the way up toward the cab.

Don’t go half way with a bed cover. If you are going to commit; go all the way.

I've had a Gator FX3 Hard Folding on my 2014 F150 for 10+ years (it came with the truck) It started leaking after about 6 years and I've had to repair it several times, which is expected being 11 years old. But it's become very heavy due to being waterlogged in the cavity between the top and bottom layers. RealTruck has recommended the BAK Revolver X4s. Anyone have experience good or bad with that BAK hard rollup cover?

I really liked the Retrax cover I had on my truck. I especially liked the ability to stop it anywhere along the truck bed vs. other trifold versions. I would use it as another contact point when I had something in the bed, along with straps and had more peace of mind. I installed it myself and it was easy enough, but you can also have it installed (the place I bought mine installed for $100).

I have a retrax and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever added to a truck
