I've been thinking about pulling the trigger on a ring camera system. They've got good reviews. Any opinions on here?

I have the regular wyze cam mounted under the soffit with no case. I don't see how it could get wet so I didn't order the case

I have a ring doorbell and spot light cam. I haven't been impressed with performance for what they charge for the camera and monthly fee. How is it my doorbell never misses recording the school bus passing by on the street but doesn't start recording the UPS guy until he's walking back to his truck.

not directed at you by any means, lol. but I've had issues in the past that could have been solved with one email and they made it torturous. I'm running an 8 camera 4k system from them. if I hadn't sweated my arse off in summer heat running wires for the cameras through the attic, I'd have sent their system back in pieces. next go round I'll pay whatever exorbitant price ubiquiti is charging for their 4k system. the money saved wasn't worth dealing with them.
I also second having HD cameras. But RECORD that quality. too may people want to extend the amount of time they record by recording at a lower resolution and essentially make all that footage useless.
lastly, wyze is great for indoor. recommend that.
