Not to be negative but that forecast blows. Same thing was called for last weekend and we got our arse kicked. Hope the rodeo is a good one!

Yea, I loved the 6-12's last week.......perhaps if the two numbers were combined it would have been accurate.

Well the good thing for us is that if it gets to the point where it's miserable we can just take the big boat back inshore and take his 26 to fish the inshore categories

Where do you guys find accurate wave forecasts? The one through rodnreel.com changes so often and usually is wrong.

We checked the morning we left and it said 5-10 with waves 1-2. And all day it was 10-15 with 3-5 footers. Surely this can not be that hard to forecast.

Went out last Wednesday night, forecast called for 0-2's at night, was 6 miles offshore and it was 3' footers all night, wind blowing 10-15 when the forecast was calling for 0-5's.

Went out of Cocodrie Saturday to South Tim 52, was calling for 2-3's and ended up being 4-5's....still caught fish both trips but talk about miserable conditions.

This weekend, I'm staying in and playing golf instead.

We get ours from impact weather and wilkens
I have a login for impact and my company uses wilkens so I have that login. They are spot on 90 percent of the time.
0-2 ft this weeekend.
And the reason is because of this weather moving through before they thought.

It is solid 5-7s out here right now.

Got damn does every weather site post something totally different. I guess it's safe to assume no one knows wtf the wind will do.
