Depends on the year model. They were always known as a cheap model boat. They don’t have the fit and finish of a lot of boats. I believe around 06/07 they completed changed their approach and picked up the quality. I have an older model that I like. It’s a no frills fishing boat that does exactly what I need.

I haven’t personally been on that model but as any used boat, get a survey. It will probably be all you need down in south LA. I just don’t get spending $80k on a high named bay boat just to steady throw blood and fish all over it.

I'd look at a different boat just to not deal with bent

For the amount of money they want for that boat, id wait and find a better deal in a private seller.

If your looking for a bay boat similar to that one go with the below.

Kenner
Blazer Bay
Blue Wave
Frontier
Skeeter
Pathfinder

You can find some good deals on older boats.

Owner of 2013 200XT here with 150 Yamaha. No complaints/no issues. This is my first boat so I dont have a lot to compare it to but it has treated me very well so far. My only recommendation is to deal with Boat Stuf in Harvey rather than Slidell.

My parents have had one for several years and been very happy with it. Granted it's very lightly used. I'll try and get the model from Dad and edit later.

Edit: It's a 2012 200xt.

I had a 24’ wellcraft, buddy had a 22’ sea fox, both were 08 models. I preferred the layout of the wellcraft, but both were equally nice. It stayed dry in moderate chop.
