We have the weirdest genetics. Lots of 8 points and hardly any browtines.

Sounds like our deer in south Arkansas.

Yeah we have a lot of deer like the one on the left. They are almost like mule deer.

That deer in your pic could go 140. It's hard to tell when they are still in velvet. The one on the left grossed a little over 120. . He had good main beams and was just shy of 20" inside, but the 1" brows and small mass measurements hurt his score

Here's a couple more pics

The short brows times seems to be a common gene in south Arkansas. I've got 46 acres in north central Arkansas and its hit or miss with the brow times there, but I rarely see anything bigger than 8s.

Incest jokes about Arkansas are too easy, I couldn't resist. We do have some 9's and 10's but 8's are more prevalent.

Hard to judge in velvet, but he grosses over 140 easy. Damn fine for an 8 pt.

Holy moly! You need to put your feeder at the end of a treadmill for that fat fricker.

I think I know where you hunt. The feeder and hog proof fence around the feeder looks familiar.

I don't think you can tell with the velvet because the mass is so deceiving. With that height, if it had any mass at all I'd say close to 150...

This was 158" and yours is taller by a lot...
