We saw this lil feller coming back down the mountain sticking out like a sore thumb. Apparently there's a local population over the mountain in Brevard NC. It didn't have pink eyes and had a little mix of gray hair on his head.

There’s a group of white squirrels between Knoxville and Nashville as well that I’ve seen while driving I-40 years ago. Can’t remember the town/mile marker to narrow it down but both times I saw them it was Westbound.
That’s all I got…

Ha. There are a bunch near the lake where I live and in town. I never thought much about them until now. I have 3 different squirrels in a deep freezer I want to mount. I might as well add a fourth.

I have family in Brevard. Nearly had my sister in tears when I took her 10 yr old white squirrel hunting in the woods behind the house. They see them all the time. He didn’t have the heart to pull the trigger when he had the opportunity.
It would have been one hell of a mount!

The eagles, hawks and owls down here would thin that white squirrel population in a hurry.
