Well, here is a Model 70 in 6.5x55 but it isn't controlled round feed. I'm pretty sure Winchester never made a Model 70 with CRF in that caliber. All of them will be of post 64 and pre Classic configuration.

You could take the saftey off the Timney trigger for your Swede, and have a smithy install a bolt saftey like mine had. It wasn't a 3 position, though. But please don't let me talk someone out of buyin a new rifle, unless it has a muzzle break on it.

Imma get the Mauser fixed eventually. It shoots to well not to. I just found an excuse to buy a new rifle

Well, I haven't been in a good ole OB argument in a couple of weeks so here goes.
1. They are not traditional.
2. They are not necessary for Louisiana hunting. example: You don't need 338 Win Mags for Mr. Whitetail argument.
3. They are ugly.
4. They throw muzzle blast in your face. (Dangerous to eyes)
5. They turn normaly O.K. sounding rifles to shoot into a deafening plain. (Dangerous again to ears)
6. I hate them. And I am the Man.

Them M70 look nice. Quit talking guns. Now im looking for an excuse to get a new one.
