I made my first trip to

Avoyelles Parish
back in September for a dove hunt. I enjoyed my visit and would return in a minute. I liked it down there and the lay of the land is very similar to what I hunt. The only differences I found were how the people talked and the way I saw one local try to back a boat into the water.

He had a special way of doing it that I was not familiar with.

I found 2 3/4" 4's a few years ago and bought a case. They've served their purpose.

We have most likely crossed paths. I'm a frequent visitor at the last camp before the gate on the Bordelonville side.

Hell you say, I think that was the place we went and had dinner that Saturday night. Some guy cooked us a steak then he gave us a brief tour before going back to see what the alligator fisherman had caught. I was intoxicated so I don't remember much. I think we were at a big wood frame camp.
