Remington Nitro-Steel Rebate

Has anyone else started the process of getting their mail-in-rebate from the Nitro-Steel promotion? This is a PITA. You have to cut the UPC code off of each individual box of ammo, tape them to a blank sheet of paper, pre-register for your rebate on remmington.com and print that sheet, fill out another rebate form with all of the same information, and mail all that in.
I would almost rather have paid full retail and been done with it.

It takes a little time and the rebate will take about 3 months to come in but it works

I bought the 3 buckets of 9mm. They were supposed to have a UPC sticker on each bucket to peel off and send in. Of course mine did not so I had to call and figure out what to do. Now I have to take a pic of each barcode and send that in. Gimme my $90!

It wasn't that bad, but I didn't do a lot of what you are saying.
I mailed my receipt, the filled out Remington form they emailed me, and the loose cut out UPC's in an envelope.

I did it a year or 2 back. I got my money back, so it was worth it.

The email from Rogers was conflicting. They sent the rebate form but also directed you to complete the online pre-reg with Remington. You’ll be fine either way I’m sure, but the Remington website form did state the UPC barcodes had to be taped to a blank sheet of paper vs. loose in the envelope.

last time i did this, i cut the one bar code off of the cardboard "case" and got the 100 dollar rebate

I submitted mine right after the deal started, this and black cloud, and haven’t seen anything yet. I want to say it was 45-60 Days?

I thought it was pretty easy for a $400 payoff.
Turned the cases upside down and took a razor blade knife to all 10 boxes at once without even taking them out. Layed the upcs on a sheet of paper and put a piece of tape across several at once. Repeat.
I didn't preregister because it looked optional and they still wanted the same stuff mailed in. Hopefully it doesn't affect the end result.

I did it last year and complained about it being a pain in the arse.....didn't find it so bad a few weeks later when the check came in, though!
