I have a 870 Wingmaster 20 Gauge. Thing is badass. My next shotgun will be a 12 gauge 870. I have a shitty mossberg now.

The 1100 I hunt with was bought in 1967. Damn good gun.

My 870 Wingmaster 16ga. was purchased in 1972 and has never given me any trouble. Have shot a lot of lead through it and it is still in excellent condition.

870 Wingmaster 16ga

I have an 11-48 16ga from the 60's and my brother has an 1100 16 from the 70's. His is in much better shape than mine (cosmetically), but they both shoot buckshot like nothing I have ever seen.

Best gun you will ever own. I have the black 870 synthetic, and it has been through 12 or so duck hunting seasons, and when I spray it down with WD40, it looks brand new again. Never jam, shoots straight. Although it has a hefty kick when shooting 3 inch steel.
