Redmax Blower

I picked up a Redmax EBZ8500 blower off Facebook for incredibly cheap. I took it completely apart and cleaned everything including the carb. I slapped it all back together, replaced the fuel lines, gas tank grommet, fuel filter, spark plug, air filter, and primer bulb. No matter what the damn thing will not start cold unless I spray starting fluid in it then it will crank and run fine. It primes good but I just don’t understand why it wont start but once it gets running it stays running. Ive never had this happen to me before.

Carb should be fairly cheap. I would swap it. Check amazon

Nothing wrong with it, that’s just the nature of those strato charged engines. They take FOREVER to warm up after you’ve pulled 15 times to get them started.

Check the spark arrestor make sure it’s not clogged.
