Soak overnight in water and baking soda or buttermilk(not reg milk) If I freeze mine I put in a gallon ziplock bag with water and baking soda. Marinating in texas pete(FOR PUSSYS) or Tabasco also works well

I actually like the fish to taste like fish.
I eat tuna out of the can and like the taste.
But the red meat especially in White Bass is just horrible, like eating the fat in catfish or alligator.
I myself cut all that out so I dont have that problem.

Try KC Masterpiece Lemon Pepper marinade next time you fry some ....I use Zatarain's seasoned fish fry too, the fine one not the cornmeal.
And SlapYaMama too or Who's Ya Daddy if you want less salt.
