STI International firearms.

They make some pretty good looking guns. I have never actually shot one myself but I've heard good things.

Its about all of these. This is a short version of how this works.

DoD wants a gun, they have PEO (program executive) come up with a platform and capabilities. All Mil-Spec refers to is the 5W's that are written in the contract....this metal, this strength, to do this, and to have the ability to be inter-operable.

maybe one of those "associate" deputies or whatever you call them... basically a volunteer that gets a badge. i used to work with a dude that was one and he would come to the office all done up like McGruff the crime dog.
