We have some, been solid. But some got some salt water looking corrosion on the bottom where there was some fake chrome plastic or something.

St. Croix Mojo inshore spinning rod is my go to. Can't beat shimano reels imo

Think the 2500s and larger are about the same price. Just remember that if you go through Japanlureshop.com, you’ll have to pay a tariff of I believe 20% in addition to whatever they charge, which you have to pay through UPS or FedEx. $78 for a Nasci is still pretty good though.
