Where are you looking to go, and what time of the year?

Fished with him one week ago, specifically requested that we go after trout. Caught 66 trout plus 2 reds. Had my daughter with me.

Been fishing with him for over 20 years. Best in the business, especially if you have women and kids.

Good luck

I second this.
Personal friend of mine and my kids(11 year old boy and 6 year old girl) love him like he's their grandpa and cry to go see him all the time.

Best in the business IMHO.

Capt. John is in Buras and has a 24' Triton and a 21' Laguna Tiger for extremely shallow water fishing.

Tell him MOJO recommended him and he'll cut you a good deal.

Jonathan and family are good friends of my family. They've owned Brenton Sound Marina in Hopedale for 8-10 years now. Good people and good fishing.

Capt. Raymond Schmidtt

saltgrass outdoors

They have the nicest logde in Plaquimens parish, nicer than even the Southern Comfort plantation. Excellent fishing pretty much anytime of year. The lodge is in Empire, but they fish mainly out of Buras and Venice. Tell him I sent you and you'll get a good deal.

We fished with "fishing with the king" and had a great time. the boat is older but huge and has deep gunnels great for kids and newbies. He runs winter deals too.
